Welcome to the Eastlake Community Council blog. Our more traditional website (which admittedly is in need of an update) is located here. Some of our favorite other Seattle neighborhood blogs are the Miller Park Neighborhood blog and the Capitol Hill Seattle blog.
Eastlake is a relatively small neighborhood in Seattle, just north of the main downtown area, just west of I-5, and just east of Lake Union (East of the Lake, get it?). For more history and background about the neighborhood, please see our About Eastlake page on our website.
Here's a map showing the city of Seattle's semi-official boundaries of the neighborhood. If you'd like to explore more neighborhood maps this way, start here.
Here's a Google Maps link to the corner of Eastlake and Lynn, the main commercial intersection in the heart of the neighborhood.

Now, with the tenth anniversary of the Eastlake Community Council's web site just behind us, we have cause to celebrate the founding of the ECC web log. Thank you, Tim Ahlers, for this great new means of dialogue and involvement to help make Seattle's Eastlake neighborhood all that it can be. May the postings and discussion begin!
